Hello! Welcome to another week. It’s hot here in Southern California but I’m okay with that. As long as I am not feeling sticky, I’m good. I hope you are good too. Here are some things that are currently going on in my edge of the world.

Did I ever mention I have a slight addiction towards office and art supplies. I do. I can’t stop. I love them. Here are some nice Micron pens that I enjoyed starring at the other day while I took a break from work and walked over to Kinokunya Bookstore in Little Tokyo. I actually had to leave without buying anything because I wanted everything. I love the #3 and #5 Micron pens. Sigh.

Here’s a background page I made for one of my art journals. I saw a picture from India and the ground was speckled with paint splatter and I thought it was beautiful. So I did my own interpretation. Nothing spectacular but I kind of love it. Simple.

I took out my new pair of shoes for a walk today and then happened to look down. I liked what I saw. I also have a slight addiction to clogs. I like these.

Currently the following is also happening:

Reading: Almost done with Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Trying to finish before the movie comes out this week. Three more chapters to go.  The movie looks like it might be very beautiful.

Trying: Almost anything pumpkin related from Trader Joe’s. Crackers, Jo-Jo’s, bread mix, pepitas, soup. Don’t get me wrong, I love pumpkin flavored items (yes, I’m one of those people) but some of the  pumpkin flavored items are  sounding a little over the top for me. I’m sticking to the basics this year.

Watching: Re-runs of “My So-Called Life”. I love that show and decided to buy the complete series a few weeks ago. Also watching anything horror movie related. Getting ready for Halloween. So far “The Tingler” is on my Netflix list. Love the classics.

Shopping: I’ve been thrift shopping lately. Found some good books to  tear up and use for my journals. At $2.00 who can pass them up. Thank you Out of the Closet thrift store. Also, looking for some cute fall dresses.

Listening: Lush (just saw them in concert on Saturday), Suede and some early Coldplay.

Hope you are currently having a great day!

Yes, you should buy some. I wish I wore mine more often but they are kind of loud walking down the halls of work. I like Swedish Hasbeens and Lotta from Stockholm. I also like some Dansko but some of them look a little too comfort shoe for me. There’s also No. 6 but a little too pricey for me but they are beautiful. Let me know when you get some.
