Well, this Summer didn’t turn out as expected. Some family emergencies occurred and that’s life sometimes. So I didn’t get to do as much of my Summer Bucket List as I anticipated but that’s okay because family comes first. The one thing I did get to do was read. Hooray! I’m usually a pretty slow reader and get distracted with things like the television, napping or stalking people on instagram but I’ve been trying to […]
It’s been hard for me to keep this space up the last few months. Summer was hard. Not sure why but I was just not motivated to do much. However, I did… Explore a little teeny-tiny bit. Drink margaritas. One of my favorite summer drinks. Go camping at the beach. Now I’m ready to drink lots of coffee and enjoy all that the new season has to bring.
Good-bye to 2016!!! Hooray!! 2016 was not the greatest year. I was trying to think of some good things that happened in 2016 and they seem far and few. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful that nothing major happened to any of my family, friends or even me for that matter. Everyone is healthy and happy. It just reminds me that one more year has gone since she passed. Either way, tomorrow my sister and I will be doing some […]
Can you feel it? Yes, Halloween is right around the corner. I love, love Halloween (even more than Christmas). It’s a time for ghouls, goblins, candy, costumes and all things macabre. As the days are getting closer, I’ve been watching my favorite scary movies and thought I’d share them. So, here you go, in no particular order. P.S.- I tend to stick to the more classic movies. They seem more scary to me then the […]
It’s here. I’ve literally been counting the days. Fall has finally arrived and I couldn’t be happier. It’s the season of happy for me. It’s the time of year when I have an extra skip in my step. Where the weather is crisp, the Santa Ana winds are blowing, the light starts to change and the leaves start to fall. It’s great. There are lots of clear skies and puffy clouds. Pumpkins start to appear […]
